There are twp types of manslaughter. Voluntary Manslaughter is the unlawful killing of another without malice, express or implied. A person convicted of voluntary manslaughter must be imprisoned not more than thirty years or less than two years, SC Code 16-3-50. Click here for a description of Involuntary Manslaughter.
