Susannah C. Ross has spent her entire career practicing criminal defense law. For the first five years after law school she was an assistant public defender for Greenville County and she has practiced criminal law in private practice since then. She has experience defending thousands of criminal charges ranging from shoplifting to murder. She has extensive experience in dealing with drug charges, probation issues, and post-conviction cases.
Susannah is from Greenville, South Carolina. She graduated Oberlin College in Ohio in 1991 and obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina Law School in 1996. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Greenville County Bar Association, and Greenville Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Susannah has had many jury trials over her career, including, DUS, murder, criminal sexual conduct (Rape), Burglary, larceny, various assaults and aggravated assaults, possession of drugs and distribution of drugs and has represented at least a thousand other individuals charged with criminal offenses resulting in guilty pleas, dismissal of their charges, or reduction of their charges. She has represented people charged with crimes in Family Court, General Sessions Court, Magistrate and Municipal Court, the Court of Appeals of South Carolina and the South Carolina Supreme Court.
